We all know someone who's stuck in the dark ages with a cell phone the size of a brick, a rickety VCR, or a dusty 8-track player amid a stack of Bee Gees tapes. Hook Me Up drags these sorry souls into the modern age, giving the technologically hopeless a guiding hand as they venture into the digital age.

Each week, our EMTs (Emergency Makeover Technicians) adopt the case of a tragic sufferer of Old School-itis, diagnose his or her specific condition and then administer the prescribed techie know-how and geeky wisdom. And, as these washed-ups get Hooked Up, you too will learn to make your wired life buzz wirelessly to life.

- Do you have a Monday Night football mooch who needs to tackle "big screen plasma" issues?  Does a Tarantino-wannabe pal still lug 40 lbs of VHS camcorder instead of light DV action? Is it time for you to replace that battery-eating boom box with a video MP3 player?
