In a bid for Disney Mobile's cell phone service customers, kajeet, a pay-as-you-go phone service aimed at 'tweens and their parents, is offering a deal: a $50 airtime credit.
When Disney customers move their phone numbers to kajeet phones, the Bethesda, Md.-based company will add on a $50 airtime credit.
Disney announced last month that it will end its Disney Mobile MVNO family cell phone service by the end of the year, choosing instead to license its Family Center web and handset time/cost management tools to an existing carrier.
Kajeet's offer can be accessed via the retailers that sell kajeet handsets or at kajeet.com.
Disney Mobile advises customers to transfer their numbers by Nov. 30. Any Disney Mobile customers out there? I'd love to hear what you liked/disliked about the service, and where you will be bringing your cell phone dollars at the end of the year.
