I'm tired of having wires run all over the place, so a few weeks ago, I set out on a mission to creatively organize my stringy mess by hiding them all in a box under my desk. It works great, and keeps my work area looking tidy. During my cable project, I came to the conclusion that going wireless is the only way to permanently solve my little problem.
My latest purchase is another step in the right direction towards a neat wire-free office. I already have a wireless Internet connection, mouse, keyboard, and now I've added a wireless printer. The Brother MFC-665CW is Multi-Function Center with faxing, scanning, copying and printing capabilities. It also supports 802.11b/g wireless functions, which means you can place this printer anywhere in the house without having to connect it to your computer. You'll also be happy to know this printer doesn't take up a lot of space, so you can even leave it on your desk.
I also liked the fact that the printer has slots for media cards so you can print pictures without a computer. Any family member can just insert their media card, browse the contents on the 2.5 inch LCD display, and print borderless photos, all without downloading photos to a computer An added bonus is the built-in digital answering machine that holds up to 29 minutes of messages, along with a speaker phone and telephone handset. I bought mine for a mere $149, which is an affordable price for all the features it offers. I plan to write a more in-depth review of the machine soon, so stay tuned.
Let me know if you have any questions about it. I'll address them in my review.

I purchased this same printer a few weeks ago. I love that I can print and scan from multiple computers (PC/MAC) around the house. Based on all the functionality it offers .. it is a steal at the price. It even has a message center aka voice mail. Jim
