Just when you thought uploading videos to YouTube couldn't possibly get any easier, Casio decides to release two slim digital cameras that come bundled with exclusive YouTube uploader software. Both Exilim cameras are equipped with what they're calling YouTube capture mode which saves MPEG-4 H.264 video at a 640x480 resolution, and a frame rate of 30 frames per second. It also includes software that simplifies the uploading process to three easy steps.
Both the 8.1 megapixel EXILIM Card EX-S880 and 7.2 megapixel EXILIM Zoom EX-Z77 also include 3X optical zoom, blur reduction, auto-tracking AF system, and face-detection technology that locks on to a subject's face to capture crystal clear single or family portraits even if they can't hold their position. Avid auctioneers will like the included eBay Shot Mode that claims to capture images already optimized for display on the auction website. The stylish slim digital cameras will retail for $229.99 when they launch in August, and will be available in several colors.
It's almost back-to-school again, and this might make an excellent gift for the MySpace/YouTube loving teen in your house. It's amazing what you get these days in the average point-and-shoot cameras, isn't it?
