Your social life is about to ramp up with the upcoming holiday season around the corner. This would be a good time to make your sound system a little more iPod friendly, so you don't have to play DJ all night long. If you've been waiting for a speaker system that's both great looking and wireless, check out the new Evolve Wireless Sound System for iPod.
The unit consists of a charging station and two detachable, cube-shaped wireless speakers that work up to 150 feet away from the base. That means, you can place the speakers in adjoining rooms if you want to stream music throughout the house. The speakers run on lithium ion batteries, and can deliver up to 10 hours of music between charges. To recharge them, you simply put them back on the base. The best part is you can add additional speakers, and since they're shipped with their own network ID, you'll always know which one is a left or right speaker. The price for being so high-tech? A whopping $300! Evolve speakers are available online or through Best Buy stores, and are compatible with most iPods, including the iPod Touch.
