Two Sexy LG Handsets Go Pink

Pink cell phones abound, and today two sexy little handsets have crossed over to the pink side. If the black LG Venus handset didn't get your attention the first time around, maybe the a sparkly pink version will. The mobile itself packs decent features, like a two-megapixel camera, VZ Navigator, microSD card slot that can hold an 8GB memory card, Bluetooth, and VCast Music access. The best feature on this particular slider is the dual-screen display with touch navigation at the bottom. I got my hands on one at a recent Verizon event and really liked phone's interface, which lets you scroll through menus using your fingers. The Venus is a sexy phone in black, but the pink version looks playful and very feminine.

The other handset sporting a new hue is the LG Shine, as spotted on Chip Chick. I thought the brushed-metal clamshell was very classy, so I'm not sure about the pink slider just yet. Guess I'll have to see it in person before dismissing it. AT&T announced the silver LG Shine would be available through its stores last month, but no word on whether a pink version would follow — yet. If you want to get your hands on a pink LG Shine slider with a scrolling wheel, as opposed to the joystick version sold in the United States, you'll have to search online for an unlocked version.

The good news is both mobiles are conveniently available now, just in case you need some last-minute gifts for the trendy girl in your life.
