Anything that integrates with the iPod is bound to catch my eye, but this digital photo frame with an iPod docking station is just too cool not to be mentioned, so I had to introduce it to you. Mustek calls the digital frame the PF-i700, and says it has expanded multimedia capabilities to play photos, TV shows, video clips, and movies stored on your iPod.
The frame has a 7-inch TFT LCD panel with a 480-by-234 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and the ability to play photos in landscape or protrait mode. It can access photos stored on a memory card (SD, xD, MMC, MemoryStick Pro, USB 2.0 port) or photos stored on your iPod. The back of the frame features stereo speakers, so you can also play music straight from your music player, as well as MPEG and Xvid videos. The PF-1700 will be on display at CES 2008, but it won't be available for purchase until March 2008 for $130. That's not a bad price, considering most digital frames sell for more and don't even include an iPod dock. I think this digital frame will be a hit, and if I spot it on the CES show floor, I will bring you a full report, so let me know if you have any questions about it in the comments below.

Can you have a memory card inserted in the frame & dock your ipod at the same time? Can you play music from your ipod while the frame cycles through photos? Which ipods will be able to dock on the frame? From the pic it doesn't look like you can get to the click wheel on the ipod is there a remote that comes with the frame to use w/the ipod while its docked? Is the ipod screen off when docked?
