iSoundCap: Wire-Free Music

There is as much fascination with iPod accessories, as there is with the iPod themselves. What is it about this particular MP3 player that inspires designers to create so many add-ons for it? Do we really need to take our iPods everywhere we go? Or dress them up?

It all started so innocently with iPod cases and speakers, and now stores are fully stocked with more iPod extras than they can handle. One of the latest products to hit the shelves is the iSoundcap.

The company wants you to free yourself from pesky wires that hang all over the place, so they've created a cap that holds an iPod Nano or the iPod Shuffle in a water-resistant compartment stitched right into the cap itself. Next to that compartment, you will find another sleeve for the excess wires and includes two spools to keep them neatly wrapped up.

Unfortunately, this is the closest you'll come to a wire free experience since it holds everything on the cap itself, and you can adjust the length of the wires that extend to your ear.

It's great for athletic types, but I wouldn't suggest wearing this on the streets. You may want to avoid becoming an easy target for iPod thieves.

What do think about the iSound Cap?

The iSound crap is stupid. i have a Apple iPod Video 30GB. seems like i`ve been excluded from this innovation. In South Africa That Cap wont see itself out your front door. My Father will rob me for it i`m sure. :(

AS MUCH AS IT LOOKS "COOL", THERE IS ONE PROBLEM WITH IT,IT'S NOT SAFE. IT EXPOSES YOUR IPOD TO THE PUBLIC. AND IF ANY ROBBER SAW IT AND WANTED IT, ALL HE HAD TO DO IS WALK BY, AND GRAB AND RUN. ITS NOT LIKE IN UR POCKET, WHERE U HAVE A CHANCE TO STOP THE CULPRIT, OR EVEN HIDE IT.NOT TO MENTION THE NAME, ISOUNDCAP? WHEN I HEARD IT, I THOUGHT IT HAD BULT IN HEAD PHONES OR SOMETHING, IT LEAVES ALOT TO DESIRED. A DISAPPOINTMENT. THE IDEAL PLACE TO USE THAT IS IN YOUR HOUSE, AND NO ONE REALLY WEARS A CAP IN THEIR HOUSE, SO WITH THAT FINAL NOTE, I THINK IT'S A BIT USELESS.

I got an Ipod in Iraq, an it was the best thing I ever spent money on. But after I came back to the states I realized that there is just no use for it, between my car an my house the only time I use it now is at work sometimes. as for the iSound Cap its just more crap to spend money on. but what ever takes your mind off reality go for it I guess
