The one thing about solar fashion I've covered in the past
is it has been both impractical and ugly (like this solar
swimsuit and bikini). But contrary to what we've seen on
and off the runway, going solar doesn't mean you have to look like a solar experiment to make a statement anymore,
thanks to a company that's bringing sexy back with a new batch of solar bags.
This upcoming back-to-school season, forget about Louis Vuitton or Coach and do something for the environment that will make you feel good
year round. We still have a good number of sunshiny days ahead of us, so make sure you head over to Noon Solar to check out its new bag collection for both men and women.
Unlike your average solar bags, Noon bags are created with biodegradable materials and feature thin solar panels on the outside that harness the power of the sun to charge your gear. These panels charge a battery pack inside that's able to supply enough juice to power up your small cell phone or iPod in a matter of hours. Great for emergencies.
Last time I wrote about Noon bags, the company had just released the Cortland and Willow bags, which were designed for women. Today, the eco-friendly company has added Logan, Sawyer, Augusta, and Oakley to the collection, which means now the guys can sport stylish solar bags too.
Logan and Sawyer are messenger bags with enough pockets to fit an army of electronics inside, surely to please the guys. And the ladies will appreciate the size and sophistication of Augusta and Oakley, which are not only beautiful but practical in every sense. You can see all the new models here at NoonSolar.com.
