ASUS F6 to conquer young hearts with scented laptops

ASUS has found much success with its EEE PC, so in keeping with the company's trendy line of colorful notebooks, ASUS is adding four more laptops that will appeal to youngsters with cool graphics and sweet smells. The special edition ASUS F6 series of scented notebooks will be available in four different colors that will emanate scents to match the youthful designs on the cover.

For example, ASUS says the pink Floral Blossom notebook will give off a floral scent to match its floral motif; the Musky Black laptop emblazoned with graffiti art will have a musky scent; the green Morning Dew notebook will appeal to nature lovers, and finally, the baby blue Aqua Ocean notebook will give off an all too familiar invigorating aquatic scent. Each scent depends on the computer's actual usage, according to the site, which probably means the novelty won't last long.

Performance wise, the ASUS F6 sports a 13.3-inch display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Wi-Fi, Windows Vista, webcam, fingerprint scanner, and up to 320GB of hard drive space. Pricing and availability are not mentioned in the press release, so we'll keep an eye on this one.
