Qualcomm MEMS Technologies, makers of low powered color displays, was on the scene at Mobile Focus showing off the upcoming Skullcandy MFM Pro headphones. The two companies teamed up for this project to bring you the first music player to include Qualcomm's mirasol display technology, which the company says is very low powered and sunlight viewable.

Apparently, the same concept that makes a butterfly's wings shimmer is the same process used in Qualcomm's mirasol displays. A representative tells me a typical display usually takes a lot of power, but with mirasol, the battery on the MFM Skullcandy headphones will last twice as long.

Adding music to this removable player is a matter of dragging and dropping files from your computer to the USB device; and since the player is removable, you can also listen to your tunes with earbuds when you don't feel like wearing oversized headphones.

Skullcandy wasn't on the scene to gives us more details about the MFM Pro headphones, but I did find out Target is likely to carry the headphones before the end of the year. No word on pricing yet, so keep checking back for more details.
