Toast goes to the dark side

When was the last time you had toast for breakfast? I certainly can't remember since I prefer french toast myself, but toaster concepts seem to be all the rage on the web. I'm really not sure why designers are focusing on creating toast printers, but one concept really got my attention a few months ago because apparently it could print logos, photos, news, and weather on a piece of toast. Imagine that. You can read all about it here.

Now we won't see any of these concept toasters in stores any time soon, but it seems to me that devices like the Scan Toaster have really inspired others companies out there. One toaster bloggers are buzzing about is the Darth Vader toaster currently selling at the Star Wars Shop.

The glossy black toaster has a huge Star Wars logo on the side, which should get fans pretty excited, but what's really special about this toaster is it can brand your slice of bread with Darth Vader's evil mug.

Like any ordinary toaster, it has several toasting settings so you decide how dark you want the Dark Lord to be. This nerdy toaster will set you back about $55, but seeing your kid's face light up at breakfast will be priceless.
