After today, the iPod Shuffle has become the "smallest MP3 player" available. What you see in this picture is what you get! No display, and definitely not the size of a pack of chewing gum anymore. The rectangular clip-on player only features a prominent clickwheel, and enough space on the left side so you can grip it with your fingertips!
Now you can clip on 240 of your favorite tunes anywhere on your lapel. Smart move on Apple's side with this iPod Shuffle redesign. I think it looks better, and it's easier to hide. It may not be the most attractive player out there, but it has to be the most practical, and portable.
It will be packaged with a dock, redesigned earbuds, and available in a 1GB capacity for $79. Expect to get your hands on this tiny iPod Shuffle in October, but you can pre-order it today.

Looks awesome. The dock is a nice idea. Perfect for a nice jog, no need to buy an armband or lanyard for it anymore.

I have had a lot of trouble with my current 1G shuffle. I think it is because I use it to exercise and sweat a lot and that gets into the IPOD. Has anyone else had this problem? I hope the new one is better in this respect.

Hardly seems worth it. 1gb of music won't even get me through a workout.
