Hide-and-Seek Alarm Clock

The alarm goes off at 6:00 am, and what do you do? Hit the snooze button. Five minutes turns into thirty and before you know it, you're late to work... again. Happens to best of us. But what if your alarm clock would run away from you, and beep until you found it hidden somewhere under your bed? That's what Clocky does. After hitting the snooze button once, it rolls off your night table and wheels away to a random hiding spot. Next time the alarm sounds off, you must get out of bed to turn it off. Gauri Nanda, an MIT student, created Clocky to solve her chronic oversleeping habits. The original Clocky prototype was nothing more than a small computer that would control the speed and direction of the clock covered in shag carpet. But after getting so much media attention, the alarm will be designed in different colors and materials making it ready for production later this year. You can watch a video of Clocky in action here. How do you feel about Clocky? Do you think it will solve your oversleeping habits, or just put you in a bad mood?

I'm afraid once it rolls under my bed I won't even hear it. I think I'll opt for a bed shaker.
