I may be the only person who feels strange about giving out business cards to friends and family. I struggle with the idea of creating a more friendly batch for them, and I believe my decision just got easier.

Flickr members now have the perfect tool at their disposal to help them create some picturesque business card artwork. An online printing service called Moo, is open for business, ready to supply the cool kids with their very own Flickr MiniCards. They turn any image from your Flickr photostream into a wallet-size calling card, with all your personal details on the back such as email address, cell phone number, IM nickname, and other online information. Plus you gotta love the idea of printing all your digital pictures on the back of the cards, instead of a business logo or stock photo.

Flickr MiniCards are available in a pack of 100 cards for $20, which makes them extremely affordable.

I tried out the service, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way of sharing their online photos offline.  I must say that, although I was able to drag and drop pictures from my Flickr account, resizing them was frustrating. Also when I was ready to personalize the back of the cards, the system just froze up. Other than that, the website was very easy to use.

I can't wait to get my first batch of cards in the mail. These would also be great for the Christmas holidays, wouldn't they?

These actually sound fairly nice. Especially now when everyone has 101 different ways to be contacted. And I hate when people ask for a phone number or update and then you sit and wait while they plus away on there cell phone typing stuff in. Be nice to just hand them a card and then they can punch it all in at their convinience...I think I'll head over there right now!
