Never Lose Your Keys Again

Until I got a keyless car, I was awfully good at losing my keys. Same goes for my phone, my purse and even my TV remote control. I'm a busy gal moving at the speed of lightning to get things done, and with that comes a little absentmindedness around the house, where I tend to misplace personal items the most. A couple of years ago, I thought it would be great if I could attach a tracking device to my most prized possessions. Today, such technology is available in the form of the Loc8tor, a handheld tracking device that homes in on tagged items within 600 feet of its location.

It works by attaching small panic or homing tags to almost anything with a key ring or a flat surface. A $100 package includes a handheld device and two tags, but additional tags may be purchased since the handheld is able to track up to 24 items.

While in the "locate mode," each tag beeps or flashes to help you track items through an on-screen directional guide. Panic tags, on the other hand, link to the Loc8tor to set off a distress alarm when tagged items travel outside a safe perimeter. This will come in handy if anyone decides to walk off with our your purse or laptop. Overall, this is a wonderful gift for busy folks with a mild case of absentmindedness.

You know what would be better? If we had this feature in our cell phones! No need to carry so many gadgets, is there? What do you think about the Loc8tor?

Sorry.. I cant resist. If and when it happens, someone is going to misplace the "lo8tor" while trying to find their keys... (chuckles)

You could combine it with a shock collar and use it for training kids (and some parents). Bill

I thought about it, i guess the loc8tor has to be mounted to the wall, that way, u dont lose the loc8tor.
