Last Gadget Standing Finalist
Sure, devices are getting thinner by the minute, but that doesn't mean phone makers are skimping out on features or LCD screens. Samsung is known for sleek handsets, but its latest handset is designed like no other phone we've seen before. The Ultra Music phone has two LCD screens on each side of the device. One side features a smaller LCD screen and dialing keypad to make phone calls. The other side has a larger LCD screen and a dedicated touch-sensitive pad that controls a music player.
I'm amazed at how thin this phone remains despite its dual interface, which is why this awesome phone is a finalist in our Last Gadget Standing competition. Despite its sleek form factor, the Ultra Music phone still has room for a two-megapixel camera, a MicroSD card slot, and Bluetooth capabilities. The screen is capable of switching from portrait to landscape mode with the flip of the screen, catering to those who want to text, send email, or watch videos. Not only is the phone a nominee in our LGS event, but it is also a 2007 CES innovations Design & Engineering Award Honoree.
I'm eagerly awaiting a review unit, so I can bring you a more in-depth look at this device.
