Just wanted to give everyone a quick roundup before the Thanksgiving holiday officially arrives and the monster shopping season officially begins. Here are a few online "deal" sites that have recently launched!

  • The Bargainist - A brand-new site crammed full with links to deep discounts, freebies, coupons, and more. It's produced in a blog style, so the newest deals are always on top. Also check out the venerable Slickdeals.
  • dealnews Guide to Black Friday - Info about all the sales from the big retailers, with what you can expect to find on sale come Friday morning.
  • Jellyfish - I wrote about the site here, and Jellyfish's deals keep getting cooler!
  • Ugenie - Another site I wrote about a few weeks ago, great for hunting down the best price on any media that's widely sold online.
  • DealItUp and NaughtyCodes - Not new, but always a good source for coupon codes and discounts.
  • PriceWatch - An absolute must-visit for any computer components you're purchasing. Beware of those rock-bottom prices, but if you need a pile of $10 video cards, PriceWatch has you covered.
  • Finally, don't forget those $100 Xboxes on Amazon on Thanksgiving morning!

    www.savester.net is another coupon site that has a bunch of deals including merchants participating in Google Checkout discounts.

    RetailMeNot.com and Icetab.com are two more sites for coupons and free shipping deals.
