Compact Power Adapter Ready for Travel

My soon-to-be-wife and I will be jetting to Europe next month for our honeymoon, and naturally, we're taking several gadgets with us, including my new 80GB video iPod (now crammed with the first season of "Heroes"). Now, the last time I traveled abroad I brought a potpourri of power adapters; workable, but kind of a pain (not to mention easy to lose). But Gizmodo's found an interesting alternative: a twistable universal AC adapter that's actually smaller than a toolbox.

The aptly named Universal AC Travel Adapter is about the same shape and size as an SLR camera lens, and it comes with a twistable selector right about where you'd expect the zoom dial to sit. Just twist the dial to select the power adapter you want (about 150 countries are representing, according to the specs) and the appropriate prongs will slide out from the unit—pretty cool, especially compared to the ungainly adapter kits that are crammed with snap-on modules. You can snap up the four-and-a-half ounce adapter for about $17.
