Wi-Fi Nearby? Check Your T-Shirt

Don't want to check your laptop or cell phone to see if a Wi-FI network is near? No problem—just look down at your T-shirt instead.

The Wi-Fi Detector Shirt ($30) isn’t all that practical—or subtle, for that matter—but it's sure to warm the hearts of wireless geeks everywhere. Powered by three AAA batteries sewn into the shirt itself, the unmistakable wireless logo on the front of the tee (removable for washing) lights up whenever you wander in range of an 802.11b/g Wi-Fi network. Nope, you won't see the name of the network you've found, nor will tell you whether its open or encrypted, but hey—you'll be making a fashion statement (of sorts). Note to geeks: not recommended for first dates.

Well thats a first (I think). I think it could be a bit more subtle though.

This one is as great as "Barrens Chat" and "Chuck Norris" T-Shirts.
