Intel wants people to understand the idea that its Core 2 Duo processors "multiply" a computer's speed and make you more efficient. It’s kind of like having a second you helping you get your work done faster, or at least that’s the idea behind Intel’s "multiply yourself" campaign. Visualizing a concept is always a good idea but tough to pull off; kudos to Intel for a fun idea that got people laughing at themselves and others at the show.
At the Intel booth, CES attendees can jump on the green-screen stage to jump, dance, and otherwise make fools of themselves (geeks and dancing don’t always mix). The video is recorded from four different angles. Those videos are recorded directly into an Intel laptop running a Core 2 Duo processor. Using Adobe Premier Elements, the videos are composited so that you see yourself from all four angles in tandem on the screen. The rendering time to composite these four video streams was about 3 minutes. That’s pretty impressive for a laptop.
The best way to explain this dual-core processing technology is to equate it to car engines: a V-8 is going to have more power than a V-4. Another analogy is to consider the processor as the brain of the computer. As the saying goes, two heads (or brains) are better than one. Two processors don't increase the speed twofold, but they do increase performance, especially in applications like photo, video, and audio editing. Core 2 Duo chips are on the market now, and soon to follow will be four-core processors (Intel calls them Core 2 Quadro processors) that have been benchmarked to show performance jumps of 80 percent over Core 2 Duo processors in some applications.

Was there and done that. Its really amazing on what they can do with processors these days. And it only took them a few minutes to render my own commercial.
