The Robopanda from WowWee Electronics is more than a doll or a toy; it wants to play with your kids. It's aimed at kids 4 and up, but the thing weighs 8 pounds, so 6-year-olds are probably the perfect age for the device. It has infrared, touch, and stereo sensors that allow it to react to sound, movement, and feel. Check out the video to see how the Robopanda works. It will cost $229 and be available in the spring.

"He" is so awesome! I can't wait until my kids don't need real friends or people to interact with!
This is certainly going to go somewhere. We have been obsessing over tottlers watching too much tv or having the tv as baby sitter. Well, our concerns should be put to rest with this baby. wow. Now you simply put this in the crib, turn it on and comback days later and your kid won't know you were gone.
edpjf26....I just hope that Robopanda can teach your kids that they are toDDlers....does Robopanda come with Spell-Check? I can only hope that your post has a tongue firmly implanted in a cheek. It sure seems so, but nowadays, one can never be certain.
Ahhh! He's going to take over the world !

I think he's great! We have a 3 and 6 year-old that will love it. Where can I find him?
