Our refrigerator door is covered with too much stuff. School lunch menus. Photos. Sports schedules....Lots of times the magnets slip off because someone has tried to put one too many things beneath it.
Could be why these Endo Fridge Magnets caught my eye on Uber-Review. But I think they stood out because the Endo web site shows them holding gadgets to prove they can hold up to 1 pound of gear and 20 pieces of paper. The photo may show an iPod but the copy doesn't recommend holding up expensive gadgets with the clip made of neodymium, silicone, and steel:
"Secures poetry, recipes, photos, memos and documents to the fridge, message board or metal surface."
With the workout our fridge door gets, I wouldn't trust any expensive gadgets to the Endo magnet, no matter how strong it is. The price is good ($10 for a pack of three), but the price of using them for gadgets would be dear.
All kidding aside, these clips have a neat, clean look and could help streamline the messy refrigerator look we've got going more than midway through the school year. They come in five colors (white, yellow, red, brown, and black.) I like 'em.

Does the magnet pose a problem for storage devices that shouldn't be exposed to magnetic fields? Or is there some shielding provided by the device? -Gary L. New York
