Readers of my post on how to handle young children's images on the web wrote with a few more suggestions about how to share photos, videos, and others kinds of media involving your children without putting them on the public web for the world to access.

I'll be checking each out in more detail, but here are a few additional sharing tools.

EnjoyMyMedia.com - Billed as a way to privately broadcast personal media to friends and family in a way that makes it easy for them to view. The bonus is you can send all kinds of files, on an ongoing basis, not only photos and videos. I'm intrigued and will definitely be taking a closer look at this free service.

Geni - New this year, this site allows you to simply and privately build a family tree with other family members, and share photos among each other. Lifehacker calls it "by far the best genealogy app we've seen."

Maya' s mom - Nancy, an active member of maya's mom, a social network for parents, suggests we check out the site's photo sharing feature. "The privacy settings on Maya's mom are great (only your friends can see your pics.)

Well, that's three ways to share images and info about kids more privately. Certainly, there's no shortage of ideas on how to share photos and other files privately with friends and family. The trick is finding the method that works for you and everyone you're sharing with. So please, keep sharing what works for your family.

Our cute babies is a crock! They are a bunch of Nazi generals that dictate what you can and cannot do. If you question them or their site you get the boot. They have lied about many things and I have my own proof. Don't waste your money unless you want to be treated as a child yourself. Ed and Char are very childish imo. Please do not go to their site and waste your money.

I was a member of Our Cute Babies for over 2 years! Never seen more drama in my life! I have also never seen 2 people handle a site as unprofessionally and illegally as Ed and Charlotte Vasquez. My advice to all- STAY AWAY! SAVE YOUR MONEY! At the rate that their "verification fee" keeps rising, you'd be able to pay for your child's college education with the money you DON'T invest in this site!

An other website to take a look at is http://www.weourfamily.com Their service is not free but very reasonable and free for the people you share your content with. They have zero advertising on your content which to me is a big plus and offer a lot of granularity in the way you can share your content. The also support all sorts of files for sharing.
