It was only a matter of time. First came the letters. Then the radio shows tracking his whereabouts around the world. Then the emails. Then the web sites tracking his whereabouts around the world on Christmas Eve.
Now, Santa can reach kids before Christmas via personalized videos of the jolly fella saying to your kids just about anything you want him to—via customized messages from a pull-down menu of phrases.
The Denver Post reports that two longtime friends and entrepreneurs, David Wallace and Ted Taggart, founded MakeBeliever.com after having disappointing, impersonal experiences with mall Santas and their kids. The biz partners say in their launch press release, "We knew there had to be a better way to personalize a visit with Santa. After all, isn't he supposed to be watching the kids all year round?"
So they came up with the V(ideo)-greeting to allow Santa to connect on a more personal level with kids, adults, coworkers, anyone you choose for $10 a pop. MakeBeliever offers 10 percent off on a second video, and 15 percent off additional videos. You'll find a video tutorial of how it works on the site, along with some sample videos and a helpful FAQ list.
Add these videos to a growing list of tech ways to communicate with the rotund, North Pole-dwelling gift giver, and believing kids can whip themselves up into a frenzy long before Christmas Eve:
• Northpole.com -- Games, a self-assessment naughty or nice list, letters to Santa, and the NORAD Santa Tracker on Dec. 24.
• Claus.com -- Naughty or nice ratings.
I'll add more fun holiday sites for kids as I find them this season. Please add some of your fun finds, too.

Ive sent several of these already. I love the idea and videos. The responses are very good, although I'm waiting to hear back from a few of my friend's kids. They won't get theirs until after Thanksgiving. Tom
