Thinking of making a photo calendar for someone on your gift list? If you've got all the photos you need for a calendar, Shutterfly is offering 25 percent off calendars after you buy the first—through tomorrow, Nov. 20.
I've created calendars featuring my kids for their grandparents the past few years on Shutterfly, and I've always been happy with the finished product. Not sure I've got every photo I need for this year's, but if you do, it would mean spending $15 for a second 12-month calendar rather than $20, and $18.74 for an 18-month calendar instead of $25. Shutterfly also has added collage-style calendars with new background templates for more variety. There are some nice new border options for the single-photo-per-page calendars, too.
Zazzle -- A great site for making all kinds of gifts from your photos, Zazzle makes is easy to create vibrant, full-photo calendar pages. You can choose from at least 10 calendar styles and seven wire colors. Calendars start at $16, and Zazzle offers free shipping for two or more.
PhotoWorks -- This site has lots of different-sized calendars with multiple layout designs to choose from, ranging in price from $20 to $36. Shipping is free through Nov. 21.
Kodak -- The site is also offering 20 percent off calendars (by Nov. 22 and if you spend more than $30). Martha Stewart's designs provide some nice hues and templates to choose from. Calendars start at $20 each before the discount.
Qoop -- If you're looking for simplicity, Qoop offers some simple designs and easy tools to create a standard 12-month calendar for $15 and a poster-sized one for $25. Qoop also is offering 20 percent off, and I couldn't find a deadline for the offer; that makes the standard calendar $12, one of the best calendar deals on the web.
Lulu -- A wonderful site for self-publishing just about anything, Lulu offers one of the lowest prices for a very basic calendar, $11.29 for an 8.5-by-11-inch 12-month calendar.
That's my calendar roundup. If you've got a favorite site for making calendars for yourself or gifts, please let us know below.
