Today is the closest we have come to a national primary day. I live in one of those states where the primary actually matters after years of falling too late in the presidential political season, so keeping up with the results has even more pull than usual.
If you don't have the time or patience to tune into the TV anchors and panelists who will be talking all day whether results are clear or not, ReadWriteWeb offers its top picks for tracking election results on the web.
The usual suspects are blanketing the day; CNN's Election Center 2008 and Yahoo! News' Election '08 full coverage page, for example. Newsweek and The Washington Post are trying their first live Inside Super Tuesday election night webcast, beginning at 6 p.m. ET, featuring some of its best known editors and writers.
For a less conventional, Twittering look at Super Tuesday results, ReadWriteWeb points to Politweets and a Google/Twitter mashup map that allow you to follow voters' twitter messages throughout the day. Memeorandum keeps the pulse of the political blogosphere.
Check out ReadWriteWeb's other web picks in the link below. And if you've got a favorite election web hangout, let us know.
