Hyper-connected workaholics or masters of the work-life balancing act?
Reuters reports that four of five executives worldwide say they are always connected to work through mobile devices, either through cell phones, smart phones (combined phones and PDAs), PDAs (personal digitial assistant), laptops or—remember these?—pagers.
But most don't mind at all, according to the study by recruitment firm Korn/Ferry International. While more than one-third of the 2,300 executives in 75 countries said they spent too much time connected to work through technology, 77 percent said mobile devices have improved their work-life balance, not damaged it.
