Sophia writes from Canada that she and her mom have found a Web site that offers TV programs they both like to download to their video iPods: MoboVivo.
I checked out MoboVivo's Web site and articles about the service and found out MoboVivo is the only Canadian company offering legal downloads of TV shows for Apple's iPods. The site is slowly building content, including unedited Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) footage of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in their 1969 "bed-in" for peace from a Montreal hotel room. At $1.99 each, the four segments became available for download last week.
MoboVivo's first two offerings were a yoga show, "Namaste," from Canada's CHUM Television, and the CBC's "Fashion File."
South of Canada, there are lots more choices for TV show downloads, but MoboVivo's offerings may appeal to mobile video fans looking for something different.
