James Kim, Cnet's senior editor of digital audio, and his family have gone missing, and we're asking anyone who may have information to help with the San Francisco Police Department's search for James, his wife, and their two young children.
Kim, 35, his wife, Kati, 30, and their daughters, Penelope, 4, and 7-month-old Sabine, left their San Francisco home last week for a road trip to the Pacific Northwest. They were last seen on Saturday, November 25, in Portland, Oregon, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
They were driving a 2005 silver Saab station wagon with the personalized California license plate: "DOESF."
We're asking anyone who has any information about the Kims' whereabouts to contact the San Francisco Police Department at 415-558-5508 during normal business hours and at 415-553-1071 after hours. You can also contact the Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit at 503-823-0446.
Cnet reports that as of 9 a.m. PST Friday, investigators have narrowed their search to Oregon's Highway 30, the family's most likely route to their Gold Beach destination. The Kims last spoke to a hotel worker there by phone abut five hours before they planned to arrive.

The search for the Kims continued today, on ground and by air, focusing on secondary rural routes in southern Oregon, Cnet reports. Here's the link to the latest Oregon State Police update on the search: http://www.flashalert.net/news.html?id=1002.
Wait wait, hold on. The police are in on this? Why? You KNOW THEIR DESTINATION. I mean, whats wrong? How are they missing, it sounds like a family vacation. They've hit Dennys, are heading to a known destination, I mean yah when I take a family vacation some people dont know where Im at 24/7. Its not a big deal.
Oh, sorry, just re-read the story and realized this has been like a week since they "disappeared." Sorry, no offense, I withdraw my last statement.
