Looking for some help so that you can stick with your resolutions beyond January in the new year?
You can keep writing your exercise, diet, and myriad other goals on weekly to-do lists, sure, but Lifehacker's Gina Trapani has put together a list of web tools that can help you follow your plan and emerge a better you by the end of 2007.
There's something there for dieters (FitDay), wannabe money wizards (Wesabe), marathon runners (Cool Running), and those of us ever hopeful of becoming truly organized (Backpack).
I signed up for a free account on Backpack (a cousin site of 37 Signal's Ta-da List), which allows you to make five free pages of goals and projects with lists and notes. You can include photos and increase the number of pages with subscriptions that range from $5 to $14 a month. It's as easy to use as Ta-da List, which I use often.
FitDay is free diet and exercise tracking tool. Plug in the food item you've eaten, and calorie, carb, and fat counts appear if the food is in FitDay's database. You can easily add it if it's not.
For adults looking to duplicate the sticker-chart affirmation that motivates many a toddler, there's Joe's Goals, a simple yes-no daily tracker of whether you met your resolution goals.
Check out the full list, and if you've found other web tools that have helped you reach life goals, big and small, please share below.
