Does this sound familiar? You have all the pieces to the K'NEX set Aunt Sally gave your son, but he can't find the instructions. Or, maybe you haven't been able to find the directions to the Cranium Cadoo game you used to love to play together for months.
You may be able to find both on a wiki web site called toy instructions. A wiki is a site that can be added to and edited by several members. So if the toy instructions you're looking for aren't there, it's because the site is still being built by interested folks who care about toys and how to use them. There are already lots of instructions uploaded by wiki contributors and links to instructions on toy manufacturer web sites, including Mattel and Hasbro.
You'll also find photos of various toys shared by Flickr users on the site, and some videos. The K'NEX page has a YouTube video of an impressive K'NEX tower car track.
It's definitely worth checking out if you're missing the how-to's on some toys in your playroom. Thanks to the Daily Gadget for the link. Bookmark it.

Has anyone checked out the animated instructions that are on the Mattel site for instructions for some of their items? They're very helpful on service.mattel.com
does anyone have the instructions for the My Personal Bank toy savings bank - especially how to reset the password and how to open the bank?
