We've all seen those unfashionable techie faux pas, yet we've remained tight lipped about the situation. I think it's time we speak out, get it out in the open. It will be healthy for all of us, and hopefully send a message to our techie friends who may not know better. Here's a list of this week's offenses:

  • Don't wear USB drives around your neck, even if there is a neckstrap available for it.

  • Do not wear your keyboard as a bra. Ever.

  • Don't listen to your iPod while mowing the lawn during stormy weather. You might get struck by lightning.

  • Do wear a bikini equipped with a UV Ray monitor, just don't wear this silver bikini with a digital monitor on the belt. Silver is so 80's, isn't it?

  • Don't ever buy a cellphone that costs over a million dollars, is encrusted with real diamonds, and is of a brand you've never heard of. That's just silly.

  • Don't cover your gadgets with gadget condoms. It's just a little weird.

  • Don't ever buy a lingerie-clad female torso mouse for the office, not even your home office. It's just not ergonomic.

  • Don't wear your iPod Shuffle as a crucifix. Major faux pas if you wear it to church.

  • Don't wear Spam Shirts. Do we really need more spam in the world?

Aaahhh, I feel a little better. Don't you? There are many major offenses to list here, so please feel free to report any other techie faux pas I may have missed in the comments below.
