Rechargeable batteries are great, until you forget to bring the charger along on those long trips. There's a new type of battery in town that uses your USB ports to recharge itself so you don't have to ever bother with charging cables or stations again. Moxia Energy launched USBCELL AA batteries last year, and is already working on new cell formats for mobile phones and gaming devices.
These special batteries can be re-used and recharged hundreds of times from USB ports, which means you'll save a lot of money in the long run. The company just announced their plans to distribute USBCELL fashion batteries in pastel colors for users wishing to match their batteries to their equally fashionable gadgets.
To add more fun to the enviromentally friendly batteries, USBCELLS is also working on tartan designs for their Scottish customers, and camouflage versions for the military. Talk about fashionable! Two-cell packs of USBCELL AA batteries sell for about $20, and you can buy them on their site.

These are cute, but I want to be able to buy these batteries in stores, not just online. Also, the site gives no indication of how many times the batteries can be recharged.
