I've been looking for an economic way to organize all my gadgets. As you know, with all these gadgets come lots of new cables, so I'm tired of guessing which cable goes with what.
I recently purchased a $20 Power Station which powers up to three devices, hides all their cords inside, and has adjustable dividers to hold them in place. That solves one dilemma, but what about my digital camera, video camera, and other gadgets laying around?
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a more affordable version of this Multipot Personal Electric Charger, which looks like any other translucent bucket, but this one also doubles as an ambient light, and powers up to five gadgets while hiding away all those unsightly cords.
Lifehacker's reader Thom had the great idea of using a clear plastic shoe organizer that hangs over your door to keep track of all the little cables, gadgets or accessories.
That's better than any ideas I've had so far, so I'm definitely trying this. How do you keep your gadgets organized? Let me know if the comments below.

i wish i have different gadgets available in the market now, but as i always say, it must fit the budget
well.. I think this is a very good device specially to those who has many devices that they need to organize.
About a year ago I purchased an iGo charger from Radioshack. (I had a coupon from the back of a recent airline ticket envelope and thought it looked interesting.) You can charge your computer, and other devices at the same time. When you have a new gadget that would normally require a cable and/or charger, you simply buy a new "tip" for that device. I have different tips for all of the electronic devices I own! One charger-multiple options. The gets rid of a ton of cable clutter and is easy to travel with. There are tips for almost every device. It even came with a car/air charger for travel. This has been the one thing that has saved me from "losing it" trying to find all the cables for all the gadgets I own.

I have a small shelf over the tv in the 'puter room. All the battery chargers and power cords are plugged into power strips along the back and we know where to look for them Larry White, Olathe
