Motorola is known for its rail thin handsets, and sleek designs. After releasing a slew of handsets this week, somehow I managed to overlook the thinnest mobile phone yet. The MOTOFONE is 9mm-thin, and looks a lot like that SLVR phone, except this one is for newbies.
Motorola has completely redesigned the user interface on this phone, so you'll notice all lot more icons and voice commands in local languages, and a lot less text. The ClearVision screen will be larger, with higher-contrast so you don't have to squint when you're out in the sun, and will be combined with a flush, dust-proof keypad.
Unfortunately, the entry-level phone doesn't appear to have a digital camera, play MP3s, or video capabilities. It will target pre-paid customers, and will provide them with account reports after each call so they can control their expenses.
MOTOFONE will be available later this year in both GSM and CDMA.

I'm liking the new Motofone. It fits in my jeans pocket and it's too slim. You barely know it's there!
its a nice fone. very slim and user friendly.
The problem is the budget... but then if it's for the sake of flaunting your stuff, yeah motofones rock
Yup, liked it.. sleek design makes it looks elegant and even the features are good.
