Skype's clever tagline says it all "Call Mom first. Then go crazy." No matter how busy you are on Sunday, May 13, you simply shouldn't forget to call Mom. Especially now that Skype and Intel have teamed up to give you the "Gift of Gab" so you can Skype all the Moms in the family— provided you live in the United States or Canada. The best part is they don't even need to install Skype or know how to use it to receive your call, because SkypeOut allows you to call them on their landline or cell phone.
The offer limits Skype users to 200 minutes per computer, so you might want to keep your conversations short. Then again, you can show your relatives how to Skype, so you can keep on Skype'ing after the offer ends.Â
The "Gift of Gab" offer starts May 13, 2007 at 5:00 am EST, and goes on for 24 hours so you can make all those calls guilt-free. This is the perfect time to catch up with all your sisters, cousins, aunts, grandmas, and even your Mother-in-Law without racking up a huge phone bill. Oh, and if you have a bad memory—like me—you might want to sign up for a reminder.
