We've seen a handful of designers taking a leap into the tech world by splashing mobile phones with their signature designs, or by creating accessories to personalize our gear. Betsy Johnson has officially done both. Her rosy Samsung e315 limited edition phone had most of us drooling over it back in 2005, and I can't say I've seen Betsy Johnson tech-related gear in stores since then.
Geeksugar points us to the trendy 'Betsy Motiif' laptop sleeve selling over at Nordstrom for a mere $35. That's excellent, considering Juicy Couture wants $95 for theirs. The sleeve is padded, and features a large velcro pocket inside to keep your laptop neatly in place. Three prints are available, including the exotic animal print sleeve shown here, so if you're not ready to show your wild side you have other options in pink or black. Personally, I think I'm more of an Antique Rose kind of gal. What about you?
The only thing that worries me is the one size fits all, which in reality has a dimensions suited for a 15-inch (15"W x 12 1/2"H x 1 1/4"D) laptop. Who knows, maybe I can squeeze my 15.4 inch MacBook Pro inside, although I doubt it. Gosh, it's so hard to shop for my notebook. Betsy, how about creating wider sleeves for us Mac users?
