Remember when camping was all about spending real quality time with your family? I'm afraid those days are long gone now that the we can't go on a trip without packing iPods, PSPs, DVD players, laptops, and now DIRECTV Sat-Go (Satellite-To-Go). Yes folks, now you too can take your satellite TV on the road thanks to this all-encompassing carry unit that holds the first portable satellite TV system.
The brief case travel unit includes a 17-inch LCD monitor that can be separated from the casing for use in the home, an integrated DiRECTV Receiver, AC/DC adaptors, flat antenna, and rechargeable lithium battery. But at a whopping $1,499, which doesn't include the monthly subscription, you might as well just install a flat-screen in the car that plays HD-DVDs. If you're still interested, you can find a good review of the unit over at DBSTalk.com.
