Have you ever missed a call because your ringer was off? I have, especially now that almost every public place you set foot in asks you to turn your ringer off. And lets not forget about missed calls because your phone was hiding at the bottom of your purse. This may not be a big deal to adults who can check missed calls anytime, but now that students are asked to leave their cell phones turned off in their backpacks so they don't interrupt class, it's time for a better alert system.
BlueQ thinks it's time to take care of the problem with vibrating wristbands. The band itself is nothing special. It's black, connects via Bluetooth to your phone, and vibrates anytime you receive a call. What I find fascinating, is how the company is thinking ahead, and included templates so users can create their own skins. Here customers upload up to four photos, then print four different bands on the included Qskin paper. No price is listed on the site yet, but Blue Q says they're coming to a retailer near you. I hope that retailer is within driving distance. I wouldn't mind getting one for myself.
