Shield Your LCD from Flying Wiimotes

It's good to see I'm not the only paranoid Wii gamer. One night, I had a dream where I accidentally ruined my Sony Bravia during a Wii Sports bowling tournament. I know, I need to stop reading Wii have a problem.

Regardless, people have done some pretty stupid things with the Wiimote, and I just can't help being a little paranoid about it. You knew it wasn't going to be long, before one company found a way to capitalize on our concerns.

Taiwanese TV maker LCDArm created an LCD safety shield to keep your TV intact. Gearlog says the acrylic cover fits 30-46 inch screens, and even protects your eyes from ultraviolet rays the TV may give off. The huge plastic guard doesn't have a frame and is 98 percent transparent, so it can stay on even when you're not playing. Pricing hasn't been disclosed yet, but the company says this guard is coming soon.

Has anyone had problems with broken TVs or Wii straps?

Ok, I was thinking of buying hubby a Wii for his birthday. Now after reading your blog and Wii Have a Problem, I'm not sure he's getting one. :)

That is a good product, wondering on the price though. The first time I played a Wii the remote almost came out of my hand, so I can see the use for this screen.

Also, don't forget peoples. if you got an earlier version of the wii-mote with the thin wrist strap that has a tendency for breaking, or your strap is already frayed, you can visit Nintendo's website and get the newer thicker wrist straps. I did, so I'm no longer quite as concerned about breakage. Also, even with the wrist strap on, for the love of whomever your favorite deity may be, Do. Not. Let. Go. Of. The. Wii-Mote. Even if you're bowling.. The only time the 'mote' should leave your hand is if you're putting it down or if it leaves your hand by accident.

This is a little off base but, is there any place I could get a step by step on how to transfer photos from a disc to a net site!?
