Apple just announced two things today at the All Things Digital conference in Carlsbad, CA. First that a 160GB Apple TV will be available tomorrow for $399 ($100 more than the original 40GB model), and that YouTube is coming to Apple TV. Having to option to upgrade to a 160GB hard drive for $100, is fantastic. Anyone who already bought an Apple TV should've waited for the bigger hard drive. The larger hard drive stores up to 200 hours of video, 36,000 songs, 25,000 photos or a combination of all, and like I said, it will be available tomorrow.

Second, Steve Jobs announced that a free update will be released next month that will allow users to stream YouTube videos directly to their TV using Apple TV. The update will allow anyone to browse, find, and watch YouTube videos straight from their couch using the Apple Remote. At release time, only the most current and popular videos will be available, but YouTube plans to add more each week. Sounds great, but I don't know anyone who loves YouTube so much, they're willing to pay $300 just to get bad videos streamed to the big screen TV. Do you?
