Once you get your hands on the iPhone, there's no doubt you'll want to try new iPhone optimized applications available out there. I found a few good sites (Download Squad, Webware) already tracking down new apps for iPhone owners. So what's out there? You'll need to install Safari 3.0 to try them out on your browser. An no, you don't need the iPhone to get a preview. Really.

You can find a more extensive list of iPhone applications over at iPhone Application List. It's a good site to bookmark. Playing with these widgets really makes me want an iPhone even more, though. Sad.
