Once you get your hands on the iPhone, there's no doubt you'll want to try new iPhone optimized applications available out there. I found a few good sites (Download Squad, Webware)Â already tracking down new apps for iPhone owners. So what's out there? You'll need to install Safari 3.0 to try them out on your browser. An no, you don't need the iPhone to get a preview. Really.

You can find a more extensive list of iPhone applications over at iPhone Application List. It's a good site to bookmark. Playing with these widgets really makes me want an iPhone even more, though. Sad. Â

WIDGETS....LMAO... THATS WHAT THEY ARE CALLED. Its a CLOSED OPERATING SYSTEM. AS IN WINDOWS MOBILE..WE DONT GET WIDGETS...WE GET PROGRAMS.. GAMES...APPS. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. THOSANDS OF PROGRAMS... THIS YA GET A FEW, GOD KNOWS WHAT! This device...was never cutting edge. Nothing is on it!! I can get every feature ya have on that phone and hundreds more on mine. a WM device. no just downloading from itunes. ...i can use any song..any video..i can change the color of the screen. i can, move the ICONS around. CLOSED Operating system ...ya get NOTTA.
