Once I reached a certain age, I found myself trying anything to keep those facial muscles nice and tight, so I was happy to try a non-cosmetic alternative to facelifts called facercise. These type of exercises give the 57 muscles in your face a good workout, thus eliminating that horrid double chin, puffiness, pre-mature wrinkles, droopy eyes, and other face offenders that come with age. On the downside, facercise takes a lot of dedication, and you'll find yourself contorting your face in ways you never thought possible—something you'll want to do in private.
Fortunately for gamer gals, the Nintendo DS is turning into a real health and beauty tool. Not only will it keep your brain sharp with Brain Age, but soon it will keep your skin glowing with a series of games targeted at women. A few weeks ago, I posted about Konami's Dream Skin software for Nintendo DS packed with skin-checkup techniques and massage routines, and already I hear Nintendo is bringing facercise to the double screen.
IGN reports that a new game called Face Training is launching in Japan next month. A bundled camera will attach to the DS's GBA port, while a DS stand will prop up the handheld like a mirror to display a real-time video of your face on the right-side of the screen and the instructor's face on the left. The game's purpose is to teach you the correct way to tone those facial muscles so you don't give your face unnecessary wrinkles. I can't wait to get my hands on these two beauty games. Both sound like a lot of fun.

Is it true that you could get the same effect by just smiling more? It's supposed to exercise something like 57 facial muscles. ...and only 17 when you frown. ...or so the legend goes.
Just another thing that nintendo can test to complete whatever there crazy master plan is... which in the scheme of things, there way ahead of 360 and PS3 in the tech department, and dont give that blu-ray crap or awsome graphics, its the same across the board, half the time its the TV you watch it on.... back to the subject at hand great idea, not much of a fun factor, but at least there taking out that sterotype of video gamers being lazy people.. thank you nintendo

the ds is a really good idea from nintendo because it has alot of room to grow, with this being a good example. recently i bought the opera web browser for my ds and its awesome i can go to starbucks and check my email my myspace and look at and comment my friends pictures and view their profiles. they even have memory cards that you can buy for your ds and load it from the computer lke a flash drive and use it on your ds including music movies(couldnt find one that could hold an entire movie yet, but i hear there is a 4GB one out there that fits in the ds card slot) photos and even home brew games. i think this is amazing
