I'm spending my extended Fourth of July weekend with family and friends on the East Coast, and I'm officially guilty of turning everyone on to the Wii. How could you not? Wii games are so entertaining, and easy to master even my non-gaming five year old niece learned how to golf like a pro. What's so great about the Wii is everyone in the family can enjoy it, and even the most unlikely relatives will have a hard time putting the Wiimote down. Definitely a party must-have.
I came across the pictured Wii Smart Cars (via Kotaku) currently driving across Canada promoting the Nintendo Wii console, and let me tell you, I wish I had one because I take my Wii everywhere I go. The good news is Canadian residents actually have a chance of winning one of these tricked-out Wii mobiles if they enter Nintendo's special contest. The mini car's hatchback opens up to a flat-panel TV, and Wii console loaded with Wii Sports so you're always ready for a quick tennis match. I'm already jealous of the future owner, but all I can do is hope for a handheld Wii console—maybe one with a screen?
Anyway, the next time you're at the store wondering what games are excellent for family fun check out one of these five titles:
I only list these five because we've had a blast playing them in the past, and they're the easiest for non-gamers. Do you have other favorites? Tell me which games have been a hit at family get-togethers.

I, personally, love the DDR: Hottest Party game for the Wii. You can play for hours with friends if you have several dance pads. Another one I really enjoy is Wii Sports and the new Wii Fit. Those are alot of fun too, and is a great way to work up an appetite!
