Did you go see the new "Transformers" movie this weekend? Apparently, millions of movie-goers did, including myself. Transformers debuted at number one last week, and it has already raked in $152.6 million. I give it two-thumbs up, and that's coming from a non-Transformers fan! As you know the movie is based on the popular 1980s cartoon about two groups of robots, Autobots and Decepticons, that transform into cars and planes to conceal their identity. I remember how popular Transformer toys were among the boys, and after watching the movie, I think Transformer toys will make a successful comeback.
Tech heads will surely be attracted to the Transformer Electronic Beatmix Bumblebee robot. For $60, you can plug the robo dancer to any MP3 player and watch him shake his thing. The robot looks a lot like WowWee's Robosapien, except it probably acts a lot more like those adorable iDog since the robot is also made by Tiger Electronics. Beatmix Bumblebee runs on four AA batteries to produce movie sound effects, and add sound beats that'll transform your music collection. If you want your own robo-dancing guardian, head over to Yahoo! Shopping to get one.
