I've always wondered what it would be like to work in an office full of women. For most of my career, I've been one of two females working in a male-dominated office, but I guess that's the price you pay when you work in tech or in the military. I've always envied those offices full of well-dressed women who always manage to keep their workspaces looking immaculate, have big cabinets fully stocked with neat supplies, and an office that always smells and looks good.
Anyway, since most of us girls love aromatherapy, if I worked in an office full of gals I would suggest installing a smell-o-printer. Sagem's Zen Cube works with Sagem's MF 44 and 45 multifunctional printers to dispense a sweet smelling scent throughout the office. You simply attach the Zen Cube to the printer's ventilation slots, and anytime someone sends a fax or prints, the machine releases spurts of perfume. Scents are available in soothing, purifying, and invigorating fragrances to keep us nice and relaxed all day, no matter what's going on outside our cube. I'm just hoping they create these cartridges for all printers. The world would be a happier place.

I think if there were anyone in an office that was highly alergic to perfumes, the women (and men) would be considerate enough NOT to use the machine, otherwise, why not have something NICE to add to the environment?? There are plenty of men who douse themselves with some of the most awful smelling stuff, and we are exposed to that, so what is the difference???? I am certain some kind of compromise could be worked out, but personally, if I had one at home, it would make me VERY HAPPY while I am working.
"since most of us girls love aromatherapy" Gosh, yeah, dang, us girls, aren't we just all typical pointy-shoed office drones? Lame. I think that there should be a move towards putting LESS chemicals in our atmosphere (both indoors and out)... not more.
Big problem. What do you do in the case of my office: several dozen shared printers on the network? Ordering the scented cartridges would be like all 200 or so of us trying to order pizza. No, thanks.
I agree with "less is more." I wouldn't want to be inhaling chemical funk all day, no matter how good my nose thinks it is.

This is the worst idea ever. I would file a complaint with HR. What happened to indoor air quality standards? This creates a very hostile work environment, especially to those with allergies, asthma and other lung deficiencies. People should realize that they should not be dosing their bodies with known carcinogins and chemicals day in and day out. This is direct absorption into the bloodstream through the lungs. Stop being sold out by corporate greed!
