There's really no easy way to hide cables. I think I spent a month trying to figure out the ideal way to organize, then hide all the cables running from my desk. I ended up putting them all inside a stylish EVA tread box I found at the Container Store that I felt complimented my office decor at the time. It's not the most elegant solution, but it works.
The good news is designers like Gabriel Nigro are working on better ways to hide unsightly wires in chic containers that blend with your home decor.
Gabriel created a dog-shaped smart cable concealer he named Woofy. His inspiration to create Woofy came after visiting a friend "who happened to have cables lying around all over his flat." Imagine that!
He says "Woofy came about as a result of my own needs. I have always been irritated at the sight of cables lying everywhere and ending up as ‘cable spaghetti’ on the floor." Geeksugar spotted the cute injection molded puppy which retails for 160 Euros, and is currently available at Normann Copenhagen.
