Amped Up About the Nike Amp + Watch

I've reviewed the Nike + iPod Sports Kit, along with the armband, so I'm happy to report to Nike + iPod lovers that a watch is now available to compliment their active lifestyle. The Nike Amp + sports watch works as a standalone timepiece as well as a remote control for your Nike+ equipped iPod Nano. I have to say this is a great idea for people who already own the sports kit because it makes it a lot easier to check your running stats.

The watch itself contains a hidden LED display that flashes icons for the iPod nano as well as the time of day. My favorite feature is the control pad that lets you change tracks, adjust volume, or play your "power song" for a little inspiration to get through the run. The watch is available now in four colors for the high price of $79. If you don't own the sports kit already, expect to pay an extra $30. The good news is you don't actually have to buy the Nike + shoes.
