Star Power: Elizabeth Rohm Loves Her Helio Ocean

Elizabeth Rohm may not be your typical geek, but she can't live without her personal gadgetry to stay organized. You'll probably recognize Elizabeth from her roles in Miss Congeniality 2, Amber's Story, "Law & Order," "Angel," and TNT's "Bull." She graced the pages of Maxim in 2002 when she made the "Hot 100" list, and continues to stay in shape with full-body workouts claiming, “The fitter I get, the more I think about playing superheroes!" When she's not fighting villains onscreen, she fights for good causes such as Make the Connection, an organization that helps educate women about cervical cancer and HPV. I asked Elizabeth a few questions about her geeky lifestyle, and she told me one of her favorite gadgets is actually the Helio Ocean. What are three gadgets you love the most/can't live without? Why?

Three gadgets I love the most and can not live without are my Helio Ocean, iPod, and laptop computer. Recently, I was introduced to the Helio Ocean and while I already had a long relationship with my mobile carrier and phone, I found this product irresistible to try and make a switch! All my email and IM accounts are there and it has GPS so I can get directions when I am traveling. Another gadget I can’t live without is my iPod. I love music and the iPod’s innovative technology. “…my iPod can go wherever I go.” Finally, I can not live without my IBM laptop computer. I love to write and am always traveling. I find IBM’s laptop to be light-weight and very convenient.

What's the most extravagant tech gadget or electronic you ever bought?

The most extravagant electronic I bought that I can think of is my HDTV Television.

Where do you spend most of your online time? Any favorite sites?

Some of my favorite sites: www.msnbc.com, Conde Nast Traveler (www.concierge.com) and www.orbitz.com.

Is there anything "geek" about you? Maybe sci-fi shows or games you're addicted to?

I used to star on the television series “Angel” and am a huge sci-fi buff.

Do you download music or buy CDs?

I download my music on iTunes and on occasion will buy some CDs.

Mac or PC?

I prefer a PC rather than a Mac computer based on my needs.

Do you prefer to send text messages or make phone calls?

I prefer to make phone calls rather than send text messages.

What gadgets are on your Christmas list?

Since I recently moved into a new home, I am looking to upgrade my entertainment systems. For my friends and family I would love to get many of them the Helio Ocean.

What are you currently working on?

I just wrapped up filming a movie with Anjelica Huston and I am working on a new TV show.
